Is the PVC material used to make your mats heat resistant? What is the upper limit of temperature safe for it to remain chemically stable (before it releases unwanted chemical or "melt")? I leave my yoga mats in the car while I am at work and the car is parked under the southern California sun. I want to make sure it is safe with your material to do so, Thank you.

Great question! PVC will only release dioxin when it is burned. Under regular conditions, our mat will definitely not release any toxic chemicals even when placed in a car at very high temperature, which is hotter than a hot Yoga studio.
