Bulged disk help
PostedDecember 14, 2011
I love Rodney Yees other workouts, so after I developed two bulged disks in my lower back, I picked up this dvd. It covers all the stretches my physical therapist assigned me, but has the calming effect typical of a great yoga session. Without the distraction of a classroom I can really listen to what my body is telling me and not overdo it.

Is this video appropriate for an absolute beginner in her 80s?

If not, is there another video in the line that would help with chronic back pain for an older woman?

Yes. Give it a try and allow yourself a couple weeks to work up to your best. Do what you can everyday and you will see an improvement. Listen to your body and don't try to force your idea of the poses on your body. And don't underestimate the benefits of breathing into each pose.
