Best Invention EVER!!!
PostedDecember 8, 2011
I am NOT a morning person. I have a lot of trouble getting out of bed, especially when it's dark out. So I saw this and decided to try it out. I have the setting so the sun starts rising 15 min before my alarm should go off and the alarm is chirping birds. I am awake before the birds chirp every morning. Now, I'm not saying this is a miracle worker...I still HATE getting out of bed, but it is so wonderful waking up naturally instead of to an obnoxious BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP! I absolutely love it and would definitely recommend it...actually 4 friends and family members have already put in their order. It's a must have!

How bright does this light get? Is it gradual or jerky?

When the sun alarm is at maximum brightness, how does it compare to a standard 60 or 100 watt light bulb? Does the light really fade on, or does it step up at set levels?
It gets extremely bright...lights up my entire bedroom like a bedside lamp and it is gradual...there are 11 steps to the brightest level.

Can I use this to read by at night?

Yes, you can actually turn the light on and off manually or you could set it up like a sunset function so it will automatically shut off.
