I am a massage therapist with 30 years of experience. I found an extra therapeutic use for this product besides relaxation of the neck itself.
The Real-Ease Relaxation Tool has been helpful in my practice for aiding clients with upper and mid-thoracic spine thighteness - they are able to release into a support placed under their spine while the neck is safely held in this tool.

Is this product also intended for use by men? Sometimes these products are designed only for women.

Gender is not an issue here. Size of neck and increase or decrease of the cervical curve may make it more or less suitable for a person. But there is nothing here that can be related to gender.

Is 11 inches correct for the width of the Natural Spine Cushion?

Most people have shoulder width several inches wider than 11 inches. How could this pillow support a person's shoulders when the pillow is much narrower than normal shoulder width?

This is NOT intended for shoulder support... just neck.

Could I use the Real-EASE Relaxation Tool to support my neck & head during sleep?

I sleep on my back and have had trouble finding a pillow/support that just goes behind my neck.

I would not think so - it is made of hard plastic... it is not for sleeping. THere are pillows with a hollow in the middle ofr you head so the neck is supported comfortably on the pillow's wide edge.
