Not for Me
PostedJuly 24, 2012
I had mixed feelings about trying Cardio Yoga (formerly Yoga Dance Fusion) because I have not been a fan of traditional class-style cardio workouts in the past. While I'm sure that this video will be great for some, it's too much like an aerobics class for me. I found that the routine alternates very quickly for no instruction to lots of instruction in a short space of time, which can make the routine difficult to follow.
In short, the routine was not for me, but it is still a quality routine if you're into fusion workouts.

Best Practice Boost EVER!!!
PostedJuly 24, 2012
I got the 15-minute Results DVD as part of a 2-pack with Patricia Moreno's Cardio Burn Yoga. While I wasn't so much a fan of the Cardio Burn DVD (too much like a step aerobics or Pilates DVD), I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the 15-minute Results DVD. Though it is more like a workout than Rodney's other DVDs, he and Mariel Hemingway do a great job of keeping things conversational. Each of the four workouts—upper body, lower body, core, and total body—is like a short, intense shot of yoga that I can do in the morning, during short breaks in my day, between practice sessions/rehearsals, or in the evening. They are great alone or in addition to longer practice.

I would recommend this DVD to any friend who has ever been curious about yoga. Rodney Yee has such a positive demeanor and style that come through, even when you're not in person. The workout is long enough to give anyone a good idea of how yoga works, but short enough that it's not exhausting for a beginner. I always feel AWESOME after a round of this in the early afternoon. Very accessible, and with just enough challenge to keep it interesting.

Does this DVD do many standing poses?

I love yoga, but have foot and knee problems on one leg--cannot do most of the standing poses. I need another yoga tape that is mostly floor or chair work.

Most of the routines have standing poses. The core routine has a fair amount of floor work, but isn't exclusively floor work.

Best of luck in your search. :)
