Same Benefit No Neck Pain
PostedSeptember 13, 2011
I suffer from cervical neck issues and doing a yoga headstand is diffficult for me. I'm not quite strong enough to balance 100% on my arms and my neck gets some pressure. With this prop, I get 100% of the benefit of headstand and no risk to injury. It is SIMPLE to use, truly anyone can use it... Hope you try it.

Does this product help you to eventually help you do free head stand or hand stands if you have major difficulty with them?

My best answer for this is yes/no.
It helps you feel what it is like to be inverted and helps you to develop your core, but getting into a head stand is much different with this prop then on your own. It is a good start though and you get 100% of the same benefit.

How long should an inversion be held?

The best answer is as long as you are comfortable in the position. Never do any inversions while you have your period. Other than that, work up over time to 5 or even 10 min. if you can.

I see that this can also be used as a portable weight-training bench for dips, push-ups and barbell/dumbbell sets. Are there any pics of that?

I'm not sure about weight training with it. It is good for resistence training . I don't see how you can do dips etc. with it. It comes with tension straps. I know it says in the description that you can do these things, but as a yogi, I don't get it.

What is the size of the box used to ship the Yogacize Body Lift?

Due to where I live, there are restrictions on the size of packages I can receive. Can you tell me if the Body Lift is disassembled in the box for shipping and what that box's dimensions are? I am thinking that the dimensions listed for the product here are when it is assembled. Thank you.
