You will never want to go back to a regular towel
PostedJuly 4, 2011
I practice Bikram yoga and was using a beach towel. I decided it was time to try a thirst towel and purchased a few for my husband and I. The difference it makes is amazing.
The four things I love are:
* The towel is extremely soft so when I lay my head on the floor, the towel feels great on my cheeks.
* It is as big as my yoga mat so I don't have to bring 2 towels.
* I don't slip during triangle pose.
* It keeps me much drier than a regular towel.
I have decided to come back and get the small ones too as my face doesn't like regular hand towels anymore :)

It's not slippery at all. It's made out of polyester/nylon blend.

Does the Thirsty Yoga towel have rubber on the back to keep it from slipping on the mat?

The towel does not have rubber on the back but it doesn't slip on the yoga mat; it stays in place better than a regular towel or blanket.

I wouldn't recommend using the towel alone; you would probably slip off.
