surprised!
PostedAugust 27, 2012
I do yoga 5 days a week, 30 minutes a day. I normally use the yoga for strength, stamina or flexibility dvds by Rodney Yee. I tried this to mix it up a bit. I didn't find it challenging, but it was a welcome change (the cross train segment). Although I was pleasantly surprised when I woke up the next morning and my abs were sore! So obviously it works! I will continue to use this dvd to switch things up when I get bored or feel my abs need a good workout!!

Good for a quick and effective workout
PostedAugust 1, 2011
I have been doing yoga for 2 yrs now, 5 days a week. I do this in the morning when I want a quick workout that's not too strenuous, but effective enough. It's quick and not too hard for me whatsoever. If you're looking for a challenge, I don't think this is it. I have about 10 of the Rodney Yee dvds and I use this one pretty regularly!

Love it!

I am using this dvd as one of my morning workouts. Since it's only about 30 minutes, it's quick and super-effective in the short amount of time. I switch it up between this and the Power Yoga: Flexibility dvd. I use these 2 workouts 4 days a week and then I do an hour-long workout for the 5th day in 5-day workout regimen. It's a little more intense than the AM workout for your week dvd. If I go to that dvd, I will do at least 2 of the 5 workouts for about 40 minute morning session.

good, quick workout
PostedMarch 30, 2011
This is a good, quick workout. It's nothing that I get too out-of-breath with or feel like it's a muscle-burning workout or anything. But it's good for a morning/evening kinda-thing. I like it, something different to throw in the rotation!

not what i was expecting
PostedMarch 30, 2011
I got this dvd to switch up with my A.M. Yoga dvd in the mornings. I figured I could do 2 of the routines for a good 30 minute workout in the morning. I like the A.M.Yoga waaay better! The tone of this video is more workout-y rather than the quiet, zen-y feel of the other Rodney Yee dvds. So I'm not a fan of the 2 of them together. But overall, it's not a bad workout - especially if you need something quick! Still like A.M. Yoga much more :)

Nice and quick!

I got this to specifically target my abs. I do yoga 5 days/week, but never feel like my abs get enough! The yoga portion is slow and I feel the burn only towards the end, before the cool-down. I think it's a great supplement to my daily yoga routine!

I don't consider it beginner, however I don't consider it advanced either! I'm sure as a beginner, you could modify/skip poses. I have been doing yoga for about 2 yrs now - 5-7days/week, 30-60 minutes/workout. I still find it challenging enough to use as one of my early morning routines. I switch it up with Power Yoga: Flexibility. I find the Flex. dvd slightly easier, but still good and effective for a quick workout.

The actual workout period is about 27 minutes. There is an intro where Rodney speaks, etc. But the actual physical movement part is about 27 minutes...
