some physical problems

I have arthritis, exercise induced asthema, and my knee caps sit croocked. I've been doing some gentle stretching and a bit of yoga. My doctor thinks that those are great things for me to have added to my walking. I need to keep limber and mobile. So would this be a good thing to add or should I stay with what I have?
