Maintain a steady stance on your mat with this super-absorbent towel

Does the Thirsty Yoga towel have rubber on the back to keep it from slipping on the mat?

No, but they do make another towel that has rubber backing, but I cannot imagine how you would wash that. If you want a good towel with the rubber dots on the back, get a yogitoes towel.

Can Thirsty Yoga Towels be used alone?

Can Thirsty Yoga Towels be used alone? Or does it haave to go on the top a regular yoga mat?
If you're in a Hot Yoga Class (105 degrees), your sweat will go right through the towel on to the carpet; I dont think the studio will want that. It would be better to sweat on to the towel and then the mat, plus the mat adds needed cousioning for your back and knees.
