Market Basket - Wow
PostedSeptember 14, 2011
I did not want one with red/pink/purple as I wanted to use the basket at home as well as the 18th Century Events. The second basket came with nothing but earth tones and is wonderful. It is very sturdy and well made as well as having a lovely pattern. I purchased it because a friend of mine has had her basket 8 years and has taken it from her home to market to the beach and it still looks almost new.

How does one reshape the basket?

Set it out in the rain - when soaked through bring it inside and shape it with your hands. If needed you can stuff it with dry towels to help it maintain shape as it dries. I have many baskets, jute, willow and slat wood and when they get a bit squished this brings them back.
