Great for what I needed
PostedFebruary 28, 2012
I bought this mat because I have wood floors downstairs and carpet upstairs- I wanted a mat I could put out to make me comfortable. I actually fold it in half and put a meditation cusion in the middle. When I sit on the cushion, my feet and ankles are so cushy! I love it. Rolled out On the floor it's pretty nice.but not perfect, (cream cover gets dirty) and the padding is like a futon, dense and doesn't give when layed upon. So folded in half works the best for me. I'm glad I got this- I use it everyday

Soooo comfy- at last!

I have needed and wanted a position to sit, rest, read, watch and otherwise veg in- this is THE answer for me! I love it and use it every day:-)
Bought it with discounts and couldn't be happier. It is ergonomic and supports in all the right places. I do massage and my body needs support after a long day. I am very knowledgeable about posture and if you are thinking about getting this for support if you have sciatica, leg fatigue, back or neck issues- give it a try! Cheers!

most effective foot releif of all!!

Listen, I have tried just about every thing for foot releif. From thumper massagers, wooden foot rollers, bongers, soaking, and more. Nothing will give you releif like these exercises. Couple this with the Heathy Toes and you will have changed feet. I do! My right foot was torqued along with my sacrum, from bith and locked in an off position. However, it was unoticable to other people. It kept my foot holding a lot of discomfort and begining to get a twist in the pinky and toe next to it. I learned about how to release my sacrum thru cranial sacral therapy and also began attending to the feet- and moved the whole of my body at once- creating a gentler (still painful for me) transition into a healthy structure. This video is smart, she i s very attentive to details and Ive never once, not even in yoga classes, see anyone pay such SKILLED attention to the foot. Thank you soooo much Ms. Santiago! get this kit, get your feet open and healthy, feel great- it will affect your WHOLE BODY!

Is there a plug for the air hole in a Gaiam ball?

I've got a ball and was trying to pump it up. Got it pumped, but the air is escaping through the pump hole. My husband seems to remember a small white plug, but I don't. Any ideas?

How do I Remove the peg to refill the ball with the pump?

Use a spoon to pull the sides up- never a sharp object! It's a wiggle and pull kind of action:-)

I'm having difficulty inflating the 65" ball.

It gets close to the right size but is no where near firm--still having wrinkles from its box. I can't seem to inflate it further. Suggestions? Help. I am eager to get started but the ball is unusable at this point.

Thanks.

Take it to the gas station to inflate with the air pump- probably need a bike tire needle- it works really well. Once inflated fully, your home pump will work to add air over time. Good luck!

Is this mat thick enough to be helpful to people with back pain?

Is it washable...and why is it so expensive?~~~

Depends on what you use it for. Back pain won't be supported on the floor unless you are flat with pillows under the knees- this is great for that. Foldd in half with a zafu for sitting in meditation, this helps back pain that way.

Re: all cotton yoga mat - Appropriate as a sleeping mat?

I am wondering if the all-cotton yoga mat would be appropriate to use as a simple sleeping mat, along the lines of a futon?

Yes, exactly like a futon- thinner of course. If you added an egg crate foam layer it would be ideal, by itself is not enough for long term sleep

IS THE Hypoallergenic BedLounge & Leg Lounger-self-supporting?

IS THE Hypoallergenic BedLounge & Leg Lounger-self-supporting? OR DOES IT HAVE TO BE AGAINST A WALL OR A HEADBOARD TO SUPPORT YOU?

It's sort of self supporting- it is not perfectly upright- its more of a recline.
It's still way comfy!

How thick is the product if used on a couch

What does the product measure (thickness) if i were to place it on a couch. Do you make a product without the armrests for couches? I need something to adjust a deep couch for a shorter person but can't seem to find anything. This product would work if the arm rest were removed or removable.
Thanks.

I have this on a couch- it works great even with arm rests- which you need for proper ergonomic positioning. Especially if you have a deep couch, should work great!
