How do I know which type of yoga I should be doing?
I have already discussed with my Dr. wanting to perform yoga, but how do I know which yoga practices I should be doing to help me achieve my weight loss goals?

I too have the same question and in my research I have found that Iyengar Yoga is better suited for beginners since it focusses on teaching proper allignment while Ashanga or Power Yoga is better suited for intermediate or advanced levels since it is more faster paced. Ultimately the yoga practice to choose is the one you realisticly feel you can initially do. This is important because the foundation of yoga is to be honest with yourself and progress through contentment rather than an egoist drive.
