Misleading sales pitch
PostedDecember 27, 2011
This pump works fine and I think it's easy to pump up the balance ball chair with it. However, I wouldn't have spent the additional $8 to purchase another pump if the sales page for the chair system hadn't strongly implied that I should purchase a pump. It is listed as an optional accessory on that page but it is NOT clearly stated that this is a "replacement" pump and I didn't realize that the chair system already came with a pump. I know (now) that it's in the list of what's included with the chair, but somehow I didn't see that and I was distracted by the misleading way it's worded on the chair system page when you have to select what you want to order. The optional balls in additional colors are listed as "extras" and the replacement plugs are listed as such. The pump doesn't indicate anything like that. Luckily it's only $8.

Disappointed
PostedDecember 27, 2011
I would like to return this product, which I have not worn. I am disappointed in the quality. The fabric is thinner (cheaper looking) than what I was expecting, and the ruffles are completely unevenly and sloppily applied. It just looks cheap.

Is this featherbed topper attached to a mattress pad that fits over the mattress, or is it just a separate flat piece that sits on top?

 Solar-Powered Wreaths
Solar-Powered Wreaths
Trimmed with tiny Christmas lights nestled among long-lasting faux evergreen boughs, our recycled plastic holiday wreaths use renewable energy collected by a hidden solar panel to power their celebratory seasonal glow. With a daylight-sensing photo cell that turns them automatically on and off, each offers a bright welcome to holiday guests year after year. Available as a traditional wreath with either red or white lights, or a peace sign wreath with red lights. China.

Does this have a separate solar panel, or is it built into the wreath?

The solar panel is NOT built into the wreath!!! The wreath has a cord which connects to a separate solar panel, which is mounted on a garden stake, which requires assembly. This is not mentioned AT ALL in the product description OR shown in the photo. I am unfortunately having to return my wreath because of the previously posted incorrect answer to this question and the misleading description and photo on the Gaiam website which omits these key details - I cannot use it on a door that needs to actually open.

Whole Home Humidifer: How do you fill the tank?

Can it be filled with a pitcher by someone who can't lift the usual humdifier containers when full?

Yes. I usually fill my humidifier with a pitcher. Another option would be to use a hose or sprayer attachment from your sink, if you have one of those - the humidifier unit has wheels so it can be pretty easily rolled from one room to the next. There is no good way to lift the entire thing when it is full, but you don't need to. Unlike other models, you don't have to lift anything heavy or turn anything over to access the tank - just lift off the cover. It will take several pitchers to fill it if you're running it in a large area.

My humidifier which I purchased from Gaiam less than two years ago and I believe is this same model, is a Bemis. I have been very happy with it.
